Palmerston Band Bazaar.

Lyceum Theatre—To-nighfc

The Lyceum Theatre presented a busy appearance to-day, when the workers organising the Bazaar in aid of the funds of the Palmerston Brass Band were engaged in transforming the interior of the Theatre. Spacious stalls have been apportioned down the sides of the building, and they have been decorated and made as bright and attractive as lavish supplies of greenery and- bunting and willing hands and enthusiasm can do. An enormous stock of novelties, useful and ornamental, have been gathered together by the ladies' committee, and these make a brave show at the Lyceum. There are in addition many side shows calculated to entice the nimble shilling from the pocket of the visitor, if, indeed, any enticement were needed in so laudable, a cause as the reduction of the Band debt. - MrW. T. Wood, M.H.E., will open the bazaar at 7.30 rJiarp this evening. The following have charge of the stalls mentioned:— Fancy stall —Mesdamcs Kirk and Kinear, assisted by Misses Boon and Smith.
