A largoly-attended mooting of tho Torraco End Football Club was hold at Tatter/sail's Hotel last evening. it was decided to ,'writo to the Lyttolton touring football club, asking them if it would bo convenient to make a stay in Palmerston on their way through, provided satisfactory tmangumonts could bo mado to play a match hero. Mr Harry Broom was elected a delegate ts tho Union to represent thojunior team. It was decided to request the selection committoD to select the teams on the Saturday prior to tho matches. Mr Boison was elected assistantsecretary owing to Mr Ellis being otherwiso engaged Tbo following will represent the Terrace End juniors in tho match against tho Cadets on the Sports ground, play to commence at 3 o'clock sharp :— AlcWilliams (ii), Humphries (2), Homo, Kelly, Butters, Wilson, Boisou, Flint, Ross, Foloy, Lane, Hewitt; emergencies, McColl, Mnmly, Beattie, Knowlcs. Referee, Mr I'egler.
