Duxedis, Wednesday. At Burnsido to-day 136 fat cattle were y.trded. The trade was well supplied, but the short supply caused prices to advance 5s to 10s per head. Best bullocks, £10 10s to £11 10s ; good, £8 10s to £'J os ; medium, £7 to £8 ; best coivs and heifers, £7 los to £S 10s ; good, £G 10s to £7 10s ; medium, £5 5s to £0; inferior, £3 17s Gd to £1- 10s. Fat sheep—27oo. The supply proved excessive, and caused a drop of Gd to Is per head on last week's prices. Best wethers, lGs Cd to ISs ; one exceptionally hiNivy lot, 21s ; good, 11s to 15s ; medium, lls yd to 12s (id ; best ewes, 13s Od to 14s (id ; a few pens extra heavy, 10s Gd to 17s 3d ; good, 12s Gd to 13s ; medium. Us to 10s 3d ; inferior, 7s to Bs. Lambs —5G3 were yarded. Best, lls; medium, from 7s Gd to 9s Gd. Pigs,—7o were penned, all sorts selling in favour of vendors. Prime bullocks, £12 to £U 17s lid j prime steers, £0 to BU 10s; lighter, £o 10s to £3 10s ; prime heifers, ti to £H os; others, £5 5* to £8 10s; cows, £5 to £7 and'up to .US IS* (is for prime.
Fat sheep—Over 0000, mostly good sorts. The market was weaker by Is per head for wethers, and easier all round lor ewes. Freezing wethers, 10s Od to 18s od; maiden ewes, 15s Ud to 18s Od; ewes for export, 10s Ud to 15s Oil; butchers' best ewes, 12s to los -Id ; others, !)s to 11s; extra prime merino wethers, 18s to 20i Od ; others, 11s to 13s Od.
Fat lu'nbs—Soo, mostly better quality. A fair clearance was made at Ws lid to 18s 3d for eipori, and (is Cd to 10s for otiters.
Hlore sheep— 4000, a mixed entry. Prices weru easier. Backward wethers ins to Us -Id; better sorts passed at KSs; uoud suund young ewes, l.'is Ud to Üb7d'; a few a^ed sorts, 2s to is 9d; himbs, (i< :-!d to Ss.
