Mr Tow's request was agreed to, tho drain to be completed to the satisfaction of tho engineer. It was decided to hold over tho request; of tUo Linton scitlers, pending the question of the title to tho roads being definitely settled.

Cr Manson reported in connection with tho Coronation celebrations to bo held in tho Borough, details of which havo already been published, lie moved, and it was carried, that a donation of 1:25 be mndo to tho funds.

Several tenders wero received for tho construction of a bridge on Flygor's Line. It was decided to return them in favour of p. suggestion by tho chairman to place wipes at thn bottom of the cutting and then fill tho latter up to the level of the road.

It was decided on tho motion of Cr Cnnhm, that the special rates for tho current year bo not collected in tho Fitzherbcrt riding wheio tho loans show a full year's interest in hand, and that whoro half a year's interest is iv hand, oulv a half yuar'a interest bo collected.
