Rev. W. Earee and Mr W. C. Fitzgerald, of Wellington, had a narrow escape from serious accident on Bennett's Hill. Taucru-road, last Sunday evening. The horse "got away" on the hill, and the jolting of tho vehicle pitched Mr Earee out. giving him a severe shaking, from the effects of winch he is snfferina somewhat today, lho accident, might easily have been attended with much more serious results than, fortunately, have Ibecu recorded.—Masterton Times
