The following further subscriptions :iavo been promised towards tho posr oflico reserve : — Messrs J. Treivith (L'ioneor Boot Co.). Louisson (Burton Brewery), and A.8., 10s 6d each ; Messrs W. Port, D. Orr, J. Franklin, Thos. Wilson, W. Bowerbank. O. Trass, 5s cich; Messrs Whibloy, Maule ana Mrs Williams, 2s Cd each; Mr S. Wilson, 2s. Tonders nro called for tho erection of j a fence round tho reserve, also for the making of small p&th3 in the reserve. Tenders closo on Thursday. Particulars may bo obtained fi-oin Mr' Vincent. Tho plain and fancy dress ball on Coronation night promises to be a hugo success. At a public meeting held last evening, the School Committee, with the imster (Mr Andrew), were appointed n coiutuittoc to canvass for fiiuds to entertain tho school children and public on Coronation day. It was also decided to ask the already formed Eesorve liuoweinonc Couiraitteo to combiiio widi fc'je committee in making tho celebration n suecojo.
