Christchurch, June 4. Canterbury Jockey Club nornina tions :—

Kew Zealand Cup, of 1500 soys ; two miles—Fulmen, Ideal, Paphos, Apollo, Benown, Jabber, Kecord Keign, Takapuna, Tire, Robert McArthy, Hengist, Formula, Explosion, Beddington, Woodstock, Seakorse, Labourer, Advance, Tortulla, Huku, Scottish Minstrel, Glenaladall, Miss De Laval, Autaia, K&hauwai, Nobility, Malatua, Military, Cavalry, Conqueror, Romanoff, Djin Djin, Val Rssa, Fabricator, Sant Illario, Skobeloff, Field Bose, LaNotte, Hohoro, Straithnairn, Defoe, Dundas, Materoa, Ben Farley, Rosiphele, Velley.^

The Wellington Bacing Club have asked the Conference to allot the following dates for next year's meetings :— Spring—Thursday and Saturday, November 23nd and 24th ; Summer—tkree days (instead of two, as heretofore) on suitable dates from 17th to 26*h January^ Autumn—Thursday and Saturday. April 28th and 27th ; "Winter (Steeplechase)— ■Wednesday and Saturday, 17th and 20th July.

The diiqualification of Rebounding Lock by the Masterion Club because the horse was ridden by an unlicensed jockey in a hack race which he won, has been confirmed by the Metropolitan Clvi; also the resolution calling upon tke owner of the horse to refund the stakes. Notice of the disqualification was ordered to be served on the owner forthwith, to enable him to appeal within fourteen days.

At the annual meeting of the Jockey Club, held at Newmarket (England) Lord Durham informed the club that an application had been received from the Chairman of the New Zealand Racing Conference, tke ruling turf-authority in New Zealand, to be included in the" turf authorities having a reciprocal agreement with the Jockey Club far the mutual enforcement of sentences passed on offenders, and that the Stewards thought the application should be accepted. This was agreed to. ■
