Dairy Conference.

Stratford, June 2. The open meeting of dairy managers in conference was well attended yesterday, Mr J. Young, presiding. Addresses were delivered by Mr Ruddick on the new combined churn and butter worker and " fishy " butter, by Mr McGowan on supervising the milk supply, by Mr Robertson on sampling and testing, by Mr Kinsella on starters and cream, by Mi* Gilruth on bacteriological matters. Mr Ruddick gave a general review of the dairy industry. Mr Johnson spoke about grading, and the uhairman about churn and butter making. Resolutions were passed that the meeting considered Stratford a suitable site for a dairy school. The banquet in the evening was a great success. Mr Ruddick was presented with an illuminated address from the managers, and a handsome travelling bag from the graders, amidst loud cheers.
