London, May 81. The market rate of discount for the best three months' bills is 5-I6ths lower at 2r} per cent. The Bank ot England rate is unchanged at 3± per cent. Wheat-Large supplies and fine woather is leading to stagnation and depressing the markets. The French market is firm. Victorian cargoes have been sold at 28s 9d per quarter c.i.f.; also 10,000 quarters of Victorian for prompt delivery. ~ <3 '■
