London, May 31. .Particulars to hand of the march of the Queensland Bushmen from Beira to the relief of Mafeking states that on May 4th, under Major Kellie and Lieuts. Harris and Annat, they left Marandellas in coaches and arrived at Buiuwayo on the Bth. They rested for a day and then proceeded by train to Oatsi, the journey occupying three days. From Oatsi they marched three days through bush and sand to Molopo River, then rested for a day and started for Mafeking, where they arrived before the main column, which was coming in a different direction. During the 2*2 hours preceding the arrival they were continuously marching, including four hours spent in fighting on the way. NARROW ESCAPES. The two Australians who escaped from Pretoria state they had several narrow escapes before reaching Mafeking. The Boers were within three yards of their hiding place on one occasion. They had little food and were without water for 48 hours. In Pretoria they were allowed? only a pound- of meat weekly and a small portion of bread. When they left Waterval there were three hundred British in the hospital. Forty prisoners had escaped.
