Sydney, May 30. Lieut. Edwards, of the New South Wales Medical Corps writing from Bloemfontein, gives the following instance of treachery:—Some time ago the Intelligence Department was warned against a certain family. Apparently no heed was taken. One evening while one of the Misses X— entertained a party of officers,, the other mounted a bicycle and rode away to a Boer camp, when she gave such information that we lost a convoy and had three hundred casualties.
