Johnsonville, May 8. Messrs Freeman E. Jackson and Co., in conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Williams, report as to their Johnsonville sale as follows :—

An average entry, of cattle, of good quality throughout, met a dragging sale. Best bullocks made 8/-/- to 8/5/-, medium 7/5/- to 7/7/2, lighter 6/12/6 to 7/-/-, averaging about 17/- per lOOlbs. A few pens of good quality made as high as 18/-.

A good yarding of sheep met a ready sale, good ewes realising 14/4, medium 12/6 to 13/3, lighter 12/-, medium wethers 14/5. light 13/10, prime lambs 10s/4, others 8/- to 9/7. Baconers 25/- to 28/-
