The Hellers.
Wlion I contemplate the return of the illustrious Hellers, and (ill their marvellous association with weird, uncanny things, I'am constrained to oxpross my delight at the opportunity of witnessing their feats oneo more. They open in the Theatre Royal on New Year's Day in a now nineteenth century, up-to-date entertainment, the illusion in chief being " The Convict's Escape." This is by Mr (J. W. Hollor, who has made his namo universal and famous. Madame Maud Heller, the Rosiorueian Psychomist, transports hor audience into the mysteries of the great scienco of occultism, and Edison's sconograph shows many up-to-date animated photographs. Miss Vera Havlock, in hor great illusionary creation, has won favour in every town. The musical items are contributed by Messrs Percy Abbott and H. Carlisle, the former, besides being an instrumentalist, is a composer, and will produce for the first time in Palmerston " Tho White Mahatma March," dedicated to Madamo Hollor, which we understand is a very tuneful melody. Mr Carlislo will sing tho latest patriotic song composodby the sanio Mr Abbott, entitled " Briton and Boer." Hundreds will doubtless revel in theso latest developments which are calculated to confound the wise, charm the connoisseur, and edify tho seeker after light.
