AUCKLAND MAEKET BEPORT. (Per Press Association.) Auckl&nd, April 14 Messrs Buokland report that on Wednesday at'.&e the announoement of sale of Messrs Phillips Biffi? Clydesdale stock caused a large and representative attondanoe of those interested in the breeding of that class of stook, buyers being preeßßt'ft«n--Tin' parts oi the colony. Bidding wall keen throughout the sala, and all sold. Dairy cows and etore oattle were soaroely represented; fat oalvea in full supply, many of large size, sold freely, the greater number bringing from £1 to £1 12a eaoh; fat cattle in full numbers were required; kindly steers were mostly from 16s to 17s ihe 1001b, a few exceeded this quotation ; cows were at late values. Steers were from £0 5s to £8 10s oows £3 to £Q 5s eaoh. Fat sheep in average number were at late values; wethers were from 7.3-84, to 11s 9d; ewes 7s 9d to 9s' 6d each; store wethers, 5s 6d; aged ewes 3a 0d to 5s 9d each. Fat lambs'in short supply were better worth and ranged from 7s 6d to 11s; store ! lambs from Is 6d to 4s eioh Pigs in moderate demand were at late values.
