A Snug Family.
In the Wiener Medizinisohen Wochen.eohrift, Dr Alois Valenta disaussea a oase of a rioh blessing of ohildren, whioh waa reported by Dr Xaverßoer several years ago. Maria Anna Helm, the wife of a -—■ •mot, linen-weaver in Neulerchenfeld, at ag#«* 40, gave birth to bar thirty- ' second child. \ She is the mother of twenty-six boys and six girls. The births 'oooarred in the following order:—The first delivery gave four ohildrsn, the ' , second three, the third four, the fourth two, the, fifth three, the sixth two, the seventh three, the eighth three, the , . ninth two, the tenth three, and the ' eleventh three. She nursed all the ohildren herself. Since her fifteenth year the poor woman suffered weekly, of epilepsy, yet her children were spared from it. It is most remark--1 able that she was one of fours, and that ' ' her mother is supposed to have had i thirty-eight ohildren.
