I We regret that owing to an error in tha Wanganni Herald's report of tho meeting of tho Wanganui Charitable Aid Board, wo wore led to comment upon a speech of Mr William Ritchie, a. ,member of the Board, as if it had bipen delivered by tho Secretary of tlib Board. Wo desiro to withdraw no" part of our comments on the scandalous utterances of Mr William Ritchie, but wo sincerely regret that they should havo been applied to Mr A! Ritchie, tho Secretary to the ■ifloard.
