Kingston (Premier of South Australia), in the course of an interview, said he had not heard of a demand for closer political union with Great Britain until he arrived in England. Received July 13, at 9.45 a.m. Londok, July 12. The visit of the Premiers to Hawarden was a great success. Mr Gladstone conversed with the visitors for an hour, speaking in turn on topics of special interest to each.
