(By Electric'telegraph -iJopynjjhi.) (Per JPreaa Apaocsatioi 3 • Brisbane, Jane 21. Mr E. M. G. Eddy, the New South Wales Cliief Railway Commissioner, is dead. He has been suffering from kidney and long complications for a considerable time, and he became ill while on a tour of inspection of the New South Wales northern lines. He came to Brisbane for medical advice. Briglit's disease was the initial cause of death, complications supervening on a cold being caught while he was on tour. He intended going to North Queensland for the benefit of his health. Napier, June 22. Dr. Spencer, a resident of Napier for the past 30 years, who came to the colony with the 18th Koyal Irish, is dead. Wkstport, June 21. A. B. Sheath, formerly of the Telegraph Department, died to-day, aged 79.
