COLYTON SCHOOL.
!- A well-attended meeting of house holders was held at Colyton Hall last Monday evening for the purpose of ) receiving the report and balance-sheet of tho outgoing commttteo, and the election of a committee for the ensuing 3 year. Mr Pearce was voted to the f chair, and called upon Mr Owen I Pleasants, the chairman of the retiring commmittee, to read the report and > balanoe-sheet, which he did, and which was unanimously adopted by the meeting. The following gentlemen were ; then eleoted a committee for the ensuing year:—Messrs G Ashworth, James ; Russell, Samuel Kirk, Robert Lanki shear, Wm. Mitchell, Owen Pleasants, i and John Stewart. The committee I afterwards met and re-elected Mr Owen i Pleasants chairman, secretary, and treasurer.—Eeilding Star.
