Waimea Plains Line.

(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION) Dunedik, Monday. At the annual meeting of the- Wairnea Plains Railway Company the Directors' proposul to sell the line to Government was adopted. The Chairman (Mr Waters) said that if the rate had come m as expected die shareholders would have been receiving 7 per cent. It was stated that the shareholders might expect to get two-thirds of the capital back.
