List night Mrs Lunny went over to Devonportto see her children; she was accompanied by a friend named Mrs Renwick. As they prooeeded along the beach m the direction of Calliope Dock, they met her husband near the corner of Enox street. Mrs Lunny told him that she was going to see her children for the last time before taking a situation. He at once pulled out a revolrer and fired two shots at her/ Her husband then walked qujokly away. Subsequently he met the man McGuire, and also fired at him, but missed bis mark. Lunny j has hitherto, borne an excellent character.
