Football.
At a meeting of Committee of the Football Club, held last evening, the following team were picked to play at Feilding on Saturday, leaving F^nton's Roy*l Hotel at 1 o'clock sharp :--rßsck— Luxford ; Half-backs— Willis, Jackson, McCabe ; Quarter backs— L. Isnerwood, F. H. Smith ; Forwards— Milton, Swallow, Stallard, Jones, Seeker, Newman, Kitoben, Milno, and J. Moffatt. : In connection with the Fancy Dress Ball, it was^nntified that Heir Norberg had been, engaged for the music, and Mr Fraser for the catering.
A letter was received from Mr W. J. Haybittle, property-manager to* the Dramatic Club, notify iug that there were a limited number of oostumci for hire, at 5s each.
