York is agitated over the announcement that Commodore William Voorbi* has been sued by Mrs Elizabeth Gurnce, a dashing widow of 40 years, for .£20,000 for breach of promise of marriage. Of late she has been connected with Dr Dio -Lewis' publications. bis is well known m yachting circle* a* ex-Commodore of the Atlantic Yacht Club and owner of the Tidal Wave, Grace Addie, and other yachts. He m a lay preacher m the Methodist Churcb, nnd President of several corporations m New York, where he owns more houses than any one man. He has expended £8000 on his catamaran, Henry A.
