. '■.. : Wanganui, Saturday, We hejd a very successful stock sale at Turakmai on; the 11th. inst. Nearly all the stock yarded -were quitted under the hammer at satisfactory prices, and those that were pasßed m were all sold lifter the sale at a slight reduction oh the reserves. We give the f billowing qupta;tfons—Store cows, &2^Bsi t2^xil&: steers, £3 3s ; yearlings, 29s 6d ; weaners '(good), 278^ These were really first, class, and, we thought,, were worth mora money. Ewes, from 8s 9at6 6slQd; wethers, from 8s to 9s 6d.
