Miss Brownlie, who recently arrived from Dnnedin to take charge of the home for fallen women m this city m connection with the Salvation Army, has for several yenrs taken a great interest m an institution of the same character ia Dunedin. Several changes are being made m (he movements of the Army's officers. Captain and Mrs Wright, who have been m command of the Wellington brigade for . some time past, will leave to-morrow by the Te Anaufor Auckland to take charge of the corps m that city. A farewell coff.ee supper was giveu to them m the barracks last night, when Captain and Mrs Condon, who are ou their way from Wanganui to Nelson, were among the guests. Lieutenant; EJlis, of the Masterton corps, who is abont to join the Flying Brigade that shortly visits the towns on the West Coast of the South Island, was also present. The positions vacated by Captain and Mrs Wright's' departure will bo filled by Captain and Mis Fo3ter, who arrive from Auckland on JFriday .—Thursday's N.Z. Times.
