GENERAL MEETING.
Present, — Messrs Liggertwood, (Chairman) Mowlem, Stewart, Waite, Flood, Healy, Walkley, Piraui, Littlejohn,. Cowper, and Smith. The inftiutes of last meeting were read and confirmed. The Secretary intimated that as there were two or three subscriptions outstanding, and he was about to resign the post, he should prefer an adjournment, so that a full and correct balance sheet might be passed. If the sums came m which he anticipated there would be a credit balance of 3/5. Before adjourning, on the motion of the Chairman, it was unanimously agreed that a special; vote of thanks should be recorded on the minutes to Mr Mowlem, the Secretary, for the indefatigable manner m which he had carried out his duties. The meeting then adjourned until Friday, 11th inst.
