The debate on the Financial Statement still proceeds. . . Mr Montgomery has proposed, That the Government should be requested to reduce the current estimates by not less Eohert Stout said the amendment meant the refusal of supphes tothe Government, and they would not consider it m any other tight. f Mr Bryce moved the adjournment of the debate last night.
