First melt the lard on a slow fire, then put the horse turps m and boil slowly, then pour the quicksilver m and boil for half an-hour. It is only for hand, dressing. The wool is Rhed ■ down the neck and back to the tail, then down behind the shoulders and flanks, and it should be spread quite thin when cool. I have never known it to fail at Home, and it would be. of great value to owners of small flocks. — ahephcrd. Already seven or eiprlit, including four station hands, ou Otakapo, have expressed there intention of going, A meeting of citizens was recently held at Brißhano to consider the morality of members of Parliament. The Mayor presided, and Ministers of all deaominations were present. Resolutions were passed urging that any proofs of adultery or other scnndalous offence against morality should ronder vacant the seat of any member offending while m Parliament,
