A man named John McGregor left here m an open boat for the Moutere, 1 , a f*>rit'l2 miles distant, on Wednt-sday, taking with him a bottle of jem and a ■■' bottle of wine only. Evidently he got drunk, and his boat was drifting about • the bay with sail set till yestrrday wlira two fishermen found it. They . brought the man m, but he was.completely exhausted* from long exposure and speechless. He was taken to the hospital where he died to-day.
