At the meeting otthe Otago members, 23 being present, the Premier being She only one absent, a resolution was carried ibat the Otago Central line must bo pushed on .to a payable point, namely : —At least aa far as the Taieri 'Lake, Another resolution was carried, That a new line should not be constructed until the Otago Central be carried to a payable point.
