The Nihilists attempted to burn th» Imperial Paik at Livadia on May 7th by firing the neighbouring forest, but failed: Ths Cza* and family were at" Livadia. • * A qnantity of dynamite was discovered: on April 25 m a deserted bookseller* shop m Harrow Road, London. Tha limes connects the discovery with the recent attempt to blow up London Bridge, and the disappearance of two men connected with it. Mr Gladstone came out on the 30fch of April with a- denial of the' report that ho had decided to -join the Roman Catholic Church.
