The Wellington Chamber of Commerce have taken up a reform which is certainly one urgently required, i.e., a law whereby persons accused of offences against City bye-Jaws and trivial police regulations, may, if they do not dispute the charge, pay a fine prescribed for such offence without the necessity of .attending a hearing at th« Magistrate's Court.
