Messrs Stevens and Gorton held a large sale of stock at Feilding, on Thursday. A lot of Btook oonld not be yarded, on aocount of insufficient accommodation. The young cattle sold remarkably well ; those yatded by Mr A. Cameron, of Tnrakina, excited keen competition, ' and f etohed a nigh .price, for " youngsters." Of course, they were well-bred, and were much admired by stockbreeders. A pure-bred yearling bull, . bred by Mr Cameron, was sold for £3 li>s. The pure-bred Ayrshire bull, belonging to the same gentleman, was passed m at a reserve of twelve guineas, but was afterwards sold to Mr Fairfield Thompson, of Feilding; for ten guineas.
