AUSTRALIANS v. SURREY.
(ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. — COPYRIGHT. ) (reuter's telegrams.) London, May 21. The cricket match, Australians versos Surrey, was resumed at the Oval to-day. The weather was splendid, and the attendance of the public was very large. The wir-ket was lively, and the bowlins: of the Home team, was dead on the wicket. The. Australians continued their innings, and were all disposed of for 82. Being 89 behind their opponents, the Australians followed on with their second innings, and at the close of the day's play had put, together 171 runs i with the loss of nine wicket?. The principal scores were- — ; Bonnor, bowled ... . ... ... 34 Blackham. caught ... 43 Giffen, not out ■ 43 May 22. The Australian team who, on Friday evening had nine wickets down for 171, went again to the wickets, but only added one to the total before the last wicket fell. After a short interval the Surrey team went to the wickets and scored 87 for the loss ef seven wickets, thus winning with three wickets and three runs to spare.
