:. The second nieetirig; of the above Society was held at the Club Hotel last evening. •Present— Messrs Leggirtwood, Partridge^ Isherwdod, Rawlins, Robert, W. Ffenton; Shortt, Ben.tley, Weight, Nprberff, Littlejqhn, Milton, Hall, and" ¥.'• Mowlem (secretary). Mr Leggirtwood was voted .to the chair, iand having opened the meeting remarked tliat the first business to arrange would be the question of a band; Mr Norberg, who was present, stated he hud great difficulty m getting a band together. . . > ;'■. After some further discussion as. to remuneration it was resolved, on the motion of Mr .Isherwdod. that the offer of Iterr Norberg be accuoted, viz, to supply band for spbrte and ball for £12, or for ball only, if the sports were not held,,for£B. Itirftpty to Mr,. Shortt, member^ prey sent stated that they believed the Friendly Societies would be ■wellrepresented'at the sports. The matter of ball refresoments was left m the hands of Mr Tsherwood. Resolved — That the admission to the lawn be 6d for adults, children under 12 free. Resolved— That Mr Cowper arrange for bell-ringer. l.
