Ferguson) will present a Silver Cup to the winner of the most points m Handicap events ; points to count 5, 3, 1 ; m the event of a tie the judges to decide. Mr Walkley will present a special prize to the scorer of the most points m events Nos. 4, 7, 12, 15, W.Mr Isherwood will also give a special prize to the winner of the greatest number of points m the »wliole programme. Other Special prizes will be duly announced. RULES. ' Three competitors or no first prize, pipe music exceptcd. Should only one piper come forward he will, If competent, receive the first prize. Nominations for all Handicaps to be sent m by 9 p.m. of May 19th, addressed to the Secretary. Handicaps for Hurdles and 100 yds Flat Race will be published on Friday, May 21st. Other Handicaps will be declared on the ground one half-hour before time of starting; ana acceptances to be mnde 15 minutes before the time for starting the handicap accepted for. Competitors to run m correct athletic costume. Nominations tor all other events to be made 15 minutes before time of starting. Competitors for all handicaps must furnish at time of entry particulars of performances for last twelve months, and colors. Sweepstakes to be paid at time of acceptance. The above programme will be carried out under the rules of the Wellington Caledonian Society, as far as practicable. All disputes to be settled by the Judges appointed for the varions events. Admission to the ground, Is ; children under 14, half-price ; m arms, iree. A brass band jwill be ia attendance during the day F.
