Public Meeting.
: We are glad to hear that His Worship the Mayor has arranged for a. public inseting to be held on Wednesday, 26th inst., 'to discuss- various matters of pub lie interest. Among them will be the Gorge Line, the new post-office, the imposition at the Foxton wharf, the matter of a resident registration officer, and the Pabiatda road. Possibly eonae other matters may also be. dealt with. We look forward to a successful and enthusiastic meeting.
