We regret to learn of the death, from consumption, last evening, of Mrs Barton, at the early age of 24 years. The deceased lady was the third daughter of Mr Daniel Kitchen, of Wanganui, and will be remembered as having been at one time, with her elder, and even more gifted sister, a prominent member of the Wanganui Harmonic Society Both ladies fell victims to the same wasting and fatal disease. — Chronicle.
