The match was resumed to-day at Sheffield Park. The Englishmen continued their second innings. Shrewsburr and Bates, the not-out men of th» previous evening, managed to put together the number of runs required to win, Shrewsbury carrying out his bat for 15, while Bates had twelve to bi» credit. The English team thus won th» match with eight wickets to 'spar*. The scores were as follows :—Australian Eleven : First innings, 98 ; second innings, 70 ; total 168. Lord Sheffield* team : First innings, 105 ; second innings, 64 ; total 169. The Prince of Wales has signified his intention of being present at the match at Surrey, which commences on the 21st inst, Kensington Oval.
