(UNITED PRESS ASSOOIAfION) Chbistchurch, Friday. Daniel Burns, a coach driver, was sentenced to three months' hard labor and fined £10 at the Resident Magistrate's Court to-day for obstructing the ferry bridge, to the danger of -the. lires and limbs of the passengers ,in another coach which he blocked on the bridge, assaulting a young man, and using obscene language m the presence of ladies. Mr Taylor, the member elected for Sydenhnni, has agreed to second the Address m R^ply. A strong south-east gale with heavy rain has been blowing all day and still continues. Traffic on the Christchurch LHlle River railway is interrupted. Fanners anticipate great damage to the potato crop.
