THE MATCH AGAINST LORD SHEFFIELD'S ELEVEN.
Yesterday the Australian Cricketing Eleven began their English tour with a match against a team chosen by Lord Sheffield. This match is to be played at Sheffield Park. The team -which will be opposed to the Australians is virtnally almost, if quite not an All-England Eleven, for it comprises the pick of the. professional and gentlemen cricketers of England. The team is as follows : — W. Gv Grace, Newham, Shaw, Scotton, Bates: Phillips. Ulvet.t. '
