[BY TEIiKGBAPH.] (Post's Correspondent.) Masterton, Wednesday. The Boronsh Council has decided to disband the Volunteer Fire Brigade and reorganise it as a Muuicipal Brigade under new officers. A commercial traveller named Turner had a pocket-book, containing £40, stfilfin from his bedroom at; the Club Hotel last night. A notorious gaol-bird who 1 stopped at the. hotel, named Patrick Shine, lias.been arrested on suspicion.
