THE POLITICAL CRISIS IN NEW SOUTH WALES. VOTE OF WANT OF CONFIDENCE REJECTED. (electric telkgrap&— -copyright,} ■ (reuter's telegrams.) Sydney, TJhursday. Sir Henry Parkes 1 motion of Want of Confidence m the Treasurer's Budget Propoßalfl came on for discussion m the Legislative Assembly last night and was ultimately rejected by 66 voteß to 22, although the most of the speeches m the evening indicated disapproval with the main portions of the Budget.
('united press association..) Chbistchdbch, Wednesday. Mr R. M. Taylor has been elected M.11.P. for Sydenham. Mr Taylor has not avowed himself a supporter of any party, bnt has said he will support the Government m securing the construction of the East and West Coast railway.
