Messrs Lowes & Irons report that the attendance at their fortnightly, stock sale on Wednesday was yery large. There were 100 head of cattle yarded, whioh met with ready sale at a slight advance upon previous prices. 1500 sheep, principally weathers and young ewes, were also penned, for which there was faircompeti. tion. Culled lambs fetched 2s 3d, shorn lambs 3s 7dy.ag«£ ewes 4s 6d, two-tooth wethers 6s; 3d to 6s Bd, store wethers. 6i 8d to 7s Id, two-tooth ewes 6s, fat wethers 9s 3d, four-y tar-old store bul. locks £4 £$s to £5 3s, two-year old ' steers GOs to -£Ss(sd, yearlings 86t 6d, calves 15s to 18s, young heifers 27s to 335, horses from £3 15s to £10 10s. A quantity of pigs, which sold at laitratei, concluded the sale.
