The London Exhibition.

The Indian and Colonial Exhibition at Kensington was formally opened on Tuesday monjing by His Royal Highcess the Prince of Wales. The ceremony passed off with great eclat. The Prince of Wales read an address to Her Majesty, to which the Queen replied. Special: stands were provided for jthe accommodation of colonists along route taken by the procession. There was an immense concourse of pßoplp, and the pageant was of a most brilliant nature, the splendid weather greatly enhancing the success.

An ode by Lord Tennyson, PoetLaureate, was read. The Governor of New Zealand sent the following telegrnm on the occasion. • *• ', The Governor and Government of New Zealand, on behalf of the colony, heartily congratulate your Royal Highness on opening the Exhibition, the snecess of which is so greatly due to your exertions.
