Fatal Accident.

» . '.■ (UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.) ' Thames, Thursday. A terrible fatality occurred here about v three o'clock yesterday afternoon by which two miners, named Thomas Casley and Hugh Hill, employed \n the Caledonian Company's urine, lost their lives. It appears that while working at the lowest level ot the mine .the gas rose suddenly and they were overpowered by it before they were able to escape. They were m the gas for two and half hours, and expired a few minutes after being brought to the surface.
