The Auckland Unemployed.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) . Auckland, Tuesday. A meeting to consider the question of the unemployed took place in the Temperance Hall. Trio Mayor presided. Mr Grant, President of the Labour Coiimfil, inovrd, and Mr H. W. Farnall, Secretary of the Labour Couucil, seconded a resolution to the effect that the meeting, recognising the fact that njjinjfera are out of employment, urgently press apon the Government ? necessity of finding work for those willing Jo work,;at sufficient wages to sustain themselves and their families. Carried: Also that tho Mayor forward the,! resolution to the Government. Anout 120 were present, about a fourth of whom are unemployed..
