Messrs Murray, Roberts, and Co., of Wellington, have received the following cable message respecting the wool market, from Messrs Sanderson, Murray, and Co., of London, dated April Bth : — •'Market dropping. Greasy, 10 per cent.; scoured. 15 per cent. ; and crossbred fine, 7£ to 10 per cent, below closing rates of last Londondpn sales. For coarse crossbred market shows no .^change." j '■-!■ The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following telegram from their London office, dated 10th inst : — "Wool — Since the opening of the sales short staple merino, light m grease, has declined Ad to Id per lb ; superior greasy, scouaed, and washed have each declined Id per lb ; fino and medium crossbred s have declined per lb ; for coarse crossbred the market is easier. The market for lamb3wool is unchanged, except for faulty, which has declined id to Id per lb. Competition by both Home and foreign buyers. is fairly active, and the market is steady. The total quantity catalogued to date is 171,000 bales, and 25,000 bales have been wjthdrawnV' ,
