The 'Wool Sales.
NO. IMPBOyEMBNT, (electric telegraph. — 'copyright;) (reuter's telegrams.) London, April 8. At to-Jay's wool sales 10,400 bales were submitted for competition, no improvement being manifested m the tone of the market. Crossbred wools showed a weaker tendency. Merinos were steady, but without active demand. Scoured wools are l£d to 2d below the last sales. Up to the present date 141.000 bales have been offered, of which 21,000 have been withdrawn from sale.
