ARRIVAL OF ONE OF THE BOATS.
The captain of the Taiaroa with a boat containing ten men has just arrived at Wairau Bar. The boat was blown to sea and made the lind again. Constable McQuarrie, from whom little information can be obtained, was washed ashore four miles north of Kekerangu, or 16 miles from the scene of the wreck. There were 29 m his boat, including mate, stewardess, and five women.
